Identity Theft

Identity theft: The act of impersonating another, by means of using the person's information, such as birth date, Social Security number, address, name, and bank account information.

Identity theft is on the rise and wireless networks make you exceptionally vulnerable if they are not set up correctly. Most wireless device manufacturers have there equipment set up to provide an "out of the box" solution to get you connected quickly. They provide little or no information on how to properly secure your wireless connection and protect the information on computers accessing these wireless devices. Setting up proper encryption for wireless networks is one of the many business and residential services we offer.
